Happy Monday Bloggers!  It really is the busy season!!  I rarely event get an hour off these days, let alone a whole day.  Just wanted to write a quick update on some of the events that I’ve been involved in over the past few weeks.  As I mentioned, on May 21 I worked with John Orton Events to design, plan and set-up the 2012 Pell Awards put on by the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island.  It turned out to be an AMAZING affair – the lighting and colors really made it pop!  Check out some of the photos below:

When you entered the Pell-Chafee Performance Center, you were welcomed by this giant spandex structure called the “Tree Of Life.” Up-lit by Ormonde Productions & the Trinity team.

The round bar surrounded the base of the “Tree Of Life” sculpture and was dressed with persimmon and lime green linens as a bold focal point for the middle of the space.

The perimeter of the Pell-Chafee Performance Center was equipped with a total of 7 VIP lounges separated by draping and lit with orange colored lights and break-up gobos.

The low seated tables were dressed in persimmon colored linens with lime green Chivari chairs and beautiful flower arrangements with matching colors.

Later that same week, John Orton Events was headed to Lincoln to set up an in-home Graduation Dinner for 35 guests.  The home was FABULOUS, with an in-ground pool equipped with an infinity hot tub, grotto with waterfall, and rock water slide!  A tent was set up in the back yard, among the pool area, pool house and patio.  We provided farm tables, candles and countless flowers and arrangements to decorate and accent the birch canopies above.  It was BEAUTIFUL, see photos of the preparation below:

Beautiful flower arrangements by John Orton!

I also just helped with the planning and set up of a local fundraiser event called Wickford Heels & Wheels independently.  Will post photos and details soon!  Have you all been involved with any amazing events?  Share with us in our comments section!

Happy Planning,

A
