Hello readers! I have been on a mini-hiatus due to the high level of work and other crazy things going on in life. I am happy to report that I am currently involved in THREE different events that will be taking place over the next 1-8 months.
First, one of my closest friends from high school, Bethany (shout-out friend!), is getting married in November and has asked me to help her with the logistics of her special day. I am SO excited to have a hand in her wedding and can’t wait to see the final product come together. I will be sure to post pics of details as the date gets closer – in the meantime, check out the pin-board I created on Pinterest for her: HERE.
Next, as I believe I have mentioned before, I am involved with an annual local fundraising event called Wickford Heels & Wheels. This year the event is raising money for the Bob Woodruff Foundation for Wounded Soldiers and the Rhode Island National Guard. It is already in the deep steps of planning for the weekend of events that include, a “Heels” Gala & Silent/Live Auction on Friday, June 1st, followed by a “Wheels” Antique Car Show that will take place the next day: Saturday, June 2nd. Last, and soonest, I am planning a Sweet 16 Party for a close family friend and her friend to take place at the end of April. The two sweet-sixteeners have requested a backlight/neon/night club/rave theme and I am in the process of planning out the budget and decor. So far it consists of a fantastic night club venue in Newport, RI, glow sticks, neon fabric, black lights and UV Reactive paint! I have been working hard at compiling some great topics for future posts and will be writing some good event content over the next few weeks so stay tuned for fresh, fun posts for spring!
